Same.... *sighs* I miss the sand pit at school and playing with lego all alone in the corner of the classroom while the other kids played together during Golden Time.

That's fine by me, I just need to get my shifts for next week. My parents might be at work too (considering my dad doesn't get the sack for shouting at autistics in a vulnerable state).

If everyone is out, you know where to go right?

My schools always had a golden time, but I think it had a different name. I love golden time, but it got a bit boring after year 4 because since we were the "older kids" all the lego and stickle bricks were replaced with mostly board games.

Also (and a question to anyone else who remembers their primary school days) At the end of each term did you have a day where you could bring a game or toy from home? I used to, and all the girls including me would bring our baby dolls and related bric-a-brac and play house with them. When we reached year 6 I was one of the very few remaining girls who used to bring dolls, all the others grew up one by one.

We generally weren't allowed to take toys etc into school. I hated leaving my dino friends at home.

But we used to have a day set aside for it. Not necessarily at the end of term though. I remember taking my Toy Story Woody doll into school. It's awesome. I remember daydreaming about going home to see him and Buzz, as well as my dinosaurs. I craved them while at school.

At school I always daydreamed about my stuff, in highschool it was usually the computer.
You already know this (but the others don't :P) but I really miss being the age where having dolls was acceptable, I always wanted a baby born and never got one. I still to this day really want a baby born and like baby dolls. And barbies, but mainly baby dolls. And pretend play stuff like pretend tills, phones, food etc.
If I was living on my own I'd have all these toys.

Well poo poo to you! I'll get one of those anatomically correct "bath dolls" from Fenwicks and no one will stop me MOOAHAHAHAAA!
Although I suppose Victoria counts as a baby doll when I think about it...

Ooh how bitchy.
And yup. I could do with getting a copy of your house key cut, if that's cool? Just in case I go out while at your house when no one's in and stuff.

Erm, I meant head down to Subway, and I'd lend you my key. But yes, I'll see about getting you a key soon. You'll need it one day.
