Hope it didn't accidentally go out with Salvation Army donations; someone will be in for a surprise!

I bought some stuff today at a bootfair with my mum, then after we went to a village near where I live for a "Garage Sale Safari"! Basically it's when lots of people in a community have garage sales all together. There were about 50 stalls all in all, but too spread out really. Most were uninteresting to me and my mum, but I enjoyed the walk nonetheless. It was a nice area with big expensive houses.

Image
This is a little ammonite shaped tea light holder. It was 30p at the Garage Sale Safari. I love it as it ticks 2 of my favourite things: fossils and blue!

Image
I bought 'The Machinist' at the bootfair for 50p. Great film. In fact it's so good it seems to have turned me into Christian Bale, or maybe Moog.... :P

Image
I also got 5 episodes of the Robocop animated series on DVD on the same stall for 50p too.

Image

Image
We went to Morrisons supermarket after the bootfair and I got the first 5 POTA DVDs for £7. The films also came with a documentary about it too. 8) Also got a few bottles of Chocolate milk.

Image
Got a little blue rabbit too at the Garage Safari. It has rabbit heads for feet (I think they're slippers) and it was 5p.

Image
Last but not least - I got a gift for MONKEY. It'll remain a secret though until tomorrow, so until then, all you'll see is a chintzy bag.

I have the four Robocop T.V movies that were set 10 years later. Are they the ones you mean fudo? Funnily enough I got them at the same bootfair as today's one (in Canterbury) but over a year ago. I think they were a quid for the four movies. They aren't bad, but aren't all that good either. Good ideas but the money and acting skill just wasn't there.

Those be the ones. Only saw one though, years ago. The one with another robo, like Murphy. I like the kind of dystopian satire that is delta City enough that I'll eventually aim toown and see all. Though I kinda avoid the movies a bit, or at least shield eyes from some of the nastier stuff nowadays. can still see it now :/

The black guy named Cable (with the suitably brown armour ). Yeah, a good example of a good idea with rubbish acting....

If we ever meet up you can borrow my DVDs. (To be honest you're welcome to keep them). Shame you can't watch the movies anymore. The first one is amazing (albeit gory - especially Murphy's death scene. One of the highest impact movie scenes in my opinion), the other two not anywhere near as much though. The 3rd movie is more or less a kid's film really. Not bad though but really doesn't deserve the 15 rating.

You ever watched the live action family friendly T.V series? I have a few episodes on video (saw the complete collection in Poundland a couple of years ago and really regret not buying them....). Would have been about £9 in total. So nostalgic for me. I grew up watching it, so it was unsurprisingly quite a shock when I finally got round to seeing the first Robocop movie at 15 and seeing the way he dies. Never imagined it being like that watching the light hearted T.V series as a kid. :P

But 3 does have a cyborg ninja.. 2 ninja, in fact.. Nuff said.
Even 2 was getting bad but I figure if I enjoy it it's good for me.
Not seen the animated series.
Not so much Murphys death, though there's a few flinches for me there or eye shielding. More the horrible surgery and a couple of baddy deaths. Blades etc are the worst, guns killing is normally not so bad.thanks for the offer, I'll find them though. Bet they're all online too.

I think frank Miller did a robo vs terminator comic too, someone did anyway. He definitely did a robo comic.
