What's an unpop?

Is that like a Tootsie Pop, but when you get to the center, it erases itself from existence? 8O :P

LOL! Your getting up there with auntblabby for these crazy ideas.

"unpop" as in "unpopular".

"Unpops" definition is hilarious! I love plays on words!

I've never been popular especially in my mundane life no matter how hard I had tried in earlier times of my life where, I simply gave up and realized it was better to simply be who I was and not be anything else.

Has anyone ever thought that an unpopular members club might be redundant on here? I mean, aspies typically aren't social butterflies, and we tend to have low self esteem as well, thus I'm sure most of us feel "unpopular".

That term, "self esteem," has become way overused. Esteem is actually how others see you. I think most people suffer from low "self worth" or "self confidence." Occasionally, in my case growing up, it was a lack of "self control" that caused me a lot of embarrassment, because I knew I was smart enough, but multiple events came together to lead to one big ball of stress. I didn't act too smart or too mature at that time, and I regret it.

I agree. The OP started this because she thought that WP seemed like a popularity contest, but I can't really see it as such. There aren't many members here who are popular, except for the ones that post about once every minute and have post counts in the hundreds of thousands. I guess that's how you get popular.
