People (including my parents) keep saying that I look like this one girl. That makes me feel like I lost part of my identity somehow.

i am unhappy about the fact that i can not obtain information pertinent to the acquisition of farm fresh eggs!

i have recently moved into the house i bought, and it is in a semi rural area (100 km from sydney), and i want to taste eggs that have been laid within a few days prior to my purchasing them.

i have never tasted ultra fresh eggs. i know that there are places around here that sell freshly laid eggs, but i can not find out where. i have searched on the internet and found no results, and when i walk into shops and ask them i get no information.

first, i went to the local supermarket (which i realized later sells eggs), and i asked the proprietor where there may be an egg farm in the vicinity where i can buy fresh eggs. he said he had eggs, and i said "but i mean fresh eggs" and he then became quarrelsome and he argued that his eggs were fresh. i left the shop without another word and i went to another shop called "the veggie patch" which sells vegetables, and i thought "if they do not sell eggs, then there is a high chance they will be able to tell me where the local egg farms are", but they did sell eggs ! !! ! i was annoyed that they sold eggs because the use by date on them was approximately 1 month in the future, which is the same level of freshness as general supermarket eggs.

of course the cashiers at that shop tried to steer me toward their own eggs, and i walked out again sans an answer.

how do i find out where the egg farms are around me? every shop that knows about eggs, sells eggs, and therefore will not tell me where else to buy my eggs. every shop that does not sell eggs knows nothing about eggs and also can not answer me.

what do i do? do i stop people in the street and canvass them about whether they know where i can buy freshly laid eggs ? surely not. what a nightmare.

but i want very fresh eggs so much, i may just interrupt people tomorrow and ask them if they know where the local egg farms are. it is not against the law. if they think i am a freak, then that thought will be thought only by their own brain, and it is of little consequence to me. i just want to know where i can buy eggs laid yesterday!! !

grrrrr

My (sudden) libido. I wish it would stop so I could think on more productive things and stop wasting my time with useless (to me) desires.

I have a friend that has pet chickens and gets a lot of eggs from them. They don't live in the same state as me so I don't get eggs from her though.

Never feel as if I have enough time to myself. It's like I'm some kind of narcissistic black hole.

B9,

Generally the way I find out about fresh local produce is by getting to know the neighbours and getting in touch with the local farming community in your area (they may or may not be officially organized, often it is informal). Often you find out who sells what that way or sometimes they have farmers markets and such which you could check out?

I have a neighbour 3 doors down (bit of a way when you live on acreage, but still fairly close) who sells eggs, fresh milk, fresh cream and butter. The eggs and milk are always from that day when I get them.

I know it's a pain in the butt to tell an aspie to have to talk to people, but you often find the farming communities are loosely organized but know each other fairly well, hence talking is generally the way you find out about these things.
