it is difficult to think in a random way.
all my thoughts are sequential and are the result of a "cause".
.
there are some people who are psychotic and they experience severe dissociative states and the train of their thoughts is garbled.

they talk in what is termed a "word salad".

they have scant association between their words and they are ones who could post a truly random thought.

it is hard to compose a "word salad" if you have associative cognition.

a word salad may be:

"tangible trinketry is stifling the exponential declination of stupefactive ideologies embroiled in excremental ideals."

but even that makes some crude sense.

a good test to try, is to try to compose a completely dissociated string of grammatically correctly connectiing words.

it is difficult.
