I just reorganized our spice racks lol - it's a hard choice but I think the ones we use the most are all paprikas (sweet, hot and smoked), cinnamon and nutmeg for sure and various peppers.

How about herbs?

I'm not a big fan of herbs. I don't like cilantro, basil, oregano, mint or thyme.

I use parsley sometimes, or fresh chives.

Interesting fact: I was just checking how many types of squash there are (I didn't know the courgette was one too and I love it if it's cooked properly) and apparently it's a fruit. You learn something new every day... thank you, Isabella :)

I hate cilantro :eew:

Thyme, chives, bay leaves and kafir lemon leaves.

Do you like listening to a song, album or playlist on a loop?

Oooops -- yes you're right it is. Tomatoes and pumpkin too.

Always. I play The Cure "Pictures of You" for hours sometimes.

I once did a ten hour round trip drive listening to Queen "Don't Stop Me Now".

Shame on me!

Ghidorah is a three-headed space dragon who is usually depicted as an archenemy of Godzilla. I saw it at the end of a movie last weekend (not sure which, I didn't catch the whole thing) and promptly became obsessed.

I often listen to one song on repeat, when I get obsessed with one particular song I can't get enough of it.

Same question.

Great taste in music, Isabella!

Yeah, I do it too and I make playlists or have albums for specific activities or moods. 90% of the time I spend outside the house or working I have my headphones on - I like having a "soundtrack"

Do you tend to have few but long term friends?

I googled and Ghidorah is creepy, but I like him!

My main friend is my exbf. We broke up in 2002 but are still good friends.

I've never had lots of friends at once. Usually one or two at a time.

I usually only have one (or zero) close friend at a time. Not sure how long counts as "long term," it's usually a little over a year before we just stop contacting each other (because I'm too timid to initiate conversations most of the time and I just stopped hearing from them for no reason I can determine, and again, am too timid to ask). At least I don't end up with huge falling-outs, I guess. I think my current close friendship has been longer, not sure exactly how long.

How long has your longest friendship lasted?

I should point out that my friend (exbf) lives several hours away and I only see him a few times a year. That helps because I don't have to exert too much energy. I can go quite a while without talking to him. We went seven years at one point.

He would be my longest friendship.

Do you fall asleep easily?

No, it takes me at least an hour if I'm really lucky.

I did a couple of medical sleep studies and they said it takes me about 90 minutes minimum.

If I take Ambien, it's about 30 minutes.

Do you have an electric toothbrush?

I tried one once, couldn't stand the vibration in my hand or way it tickled my gums so I quickly switched back to manual. Still have some issues there, but it's much better than electric was.

Same question.

No, I do not have one. Nor have I ever tried one.

Favorite kind of tea?

English Teatime, sometimes with a splash of milk depending on my mood. But any black tea that isn't too strong will do in a pinch.

Same question.
