Describe Asian cockroaches. I'm not sure I'm familiar with the species, but my bet is they're better than mosquitos.

my brother had to put up with the blighters when he was stationed in 'nam during the war. he said they bite and leave itchy welts. they are smaller than the familiar domestic cockroach, though.

If they don't buzz like mosquitoes, I'll choose them.

I had tea and a bit of brownie and a bit of clementine.

Are you afraid of any of the following:
1. Dental work
2. Coffee shortages
3. Mythical beasts or monsters?

None of the above, but the coffee shortage would be replaced by a tea binge.

Are you afraid of:
- thunderstorms
- car washes
- doorbells

?

I used to go hide in my room when the doorbell rang because I didn't want to have any visitors talk to me. Now when the doorbell rings, I have to hold my dog back while someone else answers the door so he doesn't go jump on the visitor(s) (he's almost 80 pounds, he'll knock people over if they aren't prepared).

Haven't been in a car wash recently, but I thought it was cool to watch the process as a kid.

I actually quite like thunderstorms, though I get a bit scared when they get too strong, if there's hail or strong winds or the tornado sirens go off (I'm in Kansas, such things are not uncommon during the spring and summer). But I'm much improved from when I was a kid and would go into full-on panic any time I heard the sirens. A nice gentle thunderstorm, though, is very enjoyable to me.

Same question.

I love thunderstorms and I totally get what you're saying about the doorbell - I never bother answering unless I'm waiting for someone!

What do you do to "recharge"?
