The pasta bake is a success!

I put a bit of chopped mushroom on top. Nice touch.

What the...

I don't know what to say about this... That's a very stupid reason to not let the boys play with the bonobo. :?

That's not the reason, I mean it's too much of an amazing event to disrupt. I think the woman just saw "her kids running around OH NO!!"

Oh, I see. I agree that it was an amazing event though.

I would have been in tears through seeing it (I find that sort of thing deeply moving and for me, "deeply moving" usually means tears) and then in tears of shock because that stupid brain-dead woman didn't see it.

I nearly said to her to let the boys play, and the bonobo WANTED the boys to run around. I was tempted to take over and play the game with the bonobo girl afterwards but I felt too shy. I felt shy around both the humans and non-humans! I'm always too shy to interact with the apes at zoos, they're too much like people.

@MONKEY: Yep, I know what you mean.
I would have wanted to tell her to go and wait outside!

Never had the experience of playing with anything except dogs and given half a chance, I'll roll around with them and just get right into it.
But with something more human? Hmm, interesting - I think I would have felt shy about that too.

But damn - I do wish I'd seen it...

Dear Monkey, Regarding that friendly little Bonobo and children, don't you agree that it is to the point where we should have classes and a test to get a license to raise kids?

Both the Republican and Democratic Senate primaries have gone to run-offs here in Texas.
