Sorry, I like my nuts without frills. Toasted with a bit of salt is all I need. The whole house smells like heaven too when you do that.

Do you like jazz? Swing? Big-band? Anything related to the era?

I like swing. I like the dances and I like the fact that people are not stilted and just shuffling and behaving like drugged sexualized apes in a dimly lit setting with booming disorienting sound..

In fact I read somewhere that the modern day concept of a nightclub was based on a Nazi place they made to disorient their victims,

I also like the dresses not the modern day concept but howit actually was. The modern day concept exaggerates things and makes things either too sophisticated or too cartoonish. And nobody actually wore makeup to the degree that all these retro subculture people think they did.

Same q

Thank you, how interesting to see young people still interested and "getting it" :) From your answers and questions here, you're a remarkable young lady!

Speaking of the (in)famous Berlin clubs of the era, here's an astonishingly accurate, if extravagant reproduction of the Moka Efti club right bang in between the two World Wars:

I love jazz and blues, my wife and I took swing lessons and we regularly go out to dance or listen to live music.

Same q.
