Going grocery shopping with my mom today. Our cupboards were empty so I'm glad we got some edible goodies. :P Besides, I haven't been out of the house in awhile (not counting my recent trip to the dentist) so it felt good to take a break from sitting on the computer all day.

I didn't throw in the towel and leave last night, and my avatars are reflecting more of my true nature, now. :)

I've made even more peace with myself. Admitting that I like 1964 was a big step. I like the caps and leather/red jackets the best as far as The Kinks are concerned. :)

Don't be expecting me to wear a peace-sign.

Watching a little bit of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest with my parents while doing my nails. I painted them a fluorescent pink color.

The fact that I can be a mop-topped Kinks Fan and still love Sid from Flushed Away. :O)

I'm now halfway through a Pathology course on youtube. It's great to learn things beyond the scope of your course :D

One of the nurses at the communal residence for demented people where my grandmother lives now told me that she (my granny, that is) is finally settling in and relaxing more and more into her new surroundings. Demented people can have a lot of trouble adjusting to change and my grandmother was pretty high-strung ever since she moved to that communal residence, but now everthing works out the way we have been hoping that it would.

I went back to work, this morning. I'm making money again, after I've been sick for a week! :D

My friend made a flippant remark that really hurt me, and then all on his own realized it and apologized.

He is much like me and I would have never told him, so I was very surprised he even noticed. :)

Watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory while playing with my elastic, smooth-beaded bracelet and lying underneath a soft flannel blanket. Sensory heaven!
