Wouldn't it just be pluralized as is?

Just a heads up... Scotch is Whisky. Irish is Irish Whiskey.

Will make another note of that. Hey btw, you know of any good Irish recipes or meals? I'm wanting to making something on St Patrick's day but I don't have any ideas other than potato soup and soda bread.

Well, what you could do is slow roast some pork belly (usually 2hrs min), blanch and refresh some finely shredded cabbage, then fry it in some of the residual fat from the pork belly and season with some white pepper. Serve it and the pork belly with some finely mashed potato (use a ricer) made with double cream and butter with some finely shredded spring onion.
A sort of rich restaurant version of an old crappy Irish staple known as Bacon and Colcannon. Trad Irish food isn't that immaginative, frankly. Very simple meat, potatoes and root veg, and breads. Irish history shows that eating was very much about staying alive and little else.

My mom's grandparent's side of the family came from Ireland. My grandmother use to make it a big tradition to celebrate that side of our family, both her father and mother came straight from Ireland. My mom is a major Irish-Anglophile. I suppose to a good extent I am as well but I've always had a main interest in the Celtics that use to be all over Europe. All in all though I'm just the average heinz 57 American lol. If my dad's mom hadn't remarried, all of our last names would've been Duffield which is Scotch.

My Mom's side of the family is mostly Irish but there family is so large that they are also English, Russian, British, Scottish, Dutch, and there is much more I don't know or my Mom knows really. 8O My Dad's side of the family is smaller though and Polish.

My family had good Dutch friends who put chocolate sprinkles on the toast in the morning and they called it chocolate mice. so, moose, meese, mice. o.k. maybe that was a bit too random.

Hello :D

This is a great thread! My thoughts on popularity etc - I believe that in an ideal world we would all accept and embrace diversity, and be kind and polite towards others. I always try my best to do this - but then I am a bit of a hippy at heart I guess.

Welcome to the thread, from a fellow Garfield fan!

I love Garfield - he is such a cool cat! My dad has two ginger cats and one of them reminds me of Garfield, he just loves eating and treats us humans like his slaves

Hello CockneyRebel. Can I just say that I always enjoy reading your posts - and that I think you have great taste in liking the Kinks :) One of my fave CDs at the moment is The Kinks Choral Collection - I just love it.

I used to love Garfield when I was at school. My mum's lasagne was awesome.
