Last week I had a dream that was only weird, but terrifying. I was at this gathering at a posh estate with a large number of very weird, eccentric types in attendance. I was enjoying their company, immensely! All the sudden, a huge army came rolling up with monstrous tanks and menacing looking troops with foreign accents. In horror, I watched people shot, blown, up, and set on fire with flame throwers! I managed to escape with an attractive woman, and we were trying to find a away out of there. Just as it looked like there was no escape possible, I woke up. Awful nightmare!

sounds like an analog of the difference between the AS [online] and NT worlds, at least based on the tank-wielding army's foreign accents symbology. The army of NTs are nominally human but of a different tribe speaking in a different accent or tongue. To see the army in your dream symbolizes an overpowering force working against you. You may feel outnumbered or pressured and are unable to deal with this situation. To see the military in your dream signifies rigid authority and emotional repression. Perhaps you need to be more disciplined.
Estate
To dream that you spend time on an estate suggests that you cannot rely on others for your sense of security. You need to be secure about yourself.
Shooting
To dream that someone is shooting you with a gun suggests that you are experiencing some confrontation in your waking life. You may be feeling victimized in some situation.

I have weird dreams all the time. But I'd say the weirdest dream was where I got married to some guy I didn't know. Because the idea of me getting married sort of flabbergasts me. My dream went in to detail who he was, what he did for a living, how we connected on dates, and when he chose to marry me. It was very detail oriented....Only for him to have revealed his secret identity was Rand from The Wheel of Time after the marriage. That killed it for me. Because I thought maybe my intuition was on to something regarding the right type of guy for me (I have no idea who my type is anyway).

sounds like in waking life you ponder these things now and then.

I was actually transported back last night to the late seventies or early eighties. It was a bit dark with a few faint glows in the room.
I met someone I admire in waking life there, and we became intimate over the details.
Snooker, drinks and conversation were the insight of this life. I may even have been engaged to one of them.
All I remember is the talking, usually about the game. Then I was back up to this grand castle.
The reporter was me I think.. in light of all my premonitions I don't think I've ever had a past life regression.
Part of this life may have suited me as there was a bit of banter and evening song going on.
The hub of it is that I fell out of the daze and woke up. The links to social media were not strong then and people had a self absorbing tendency to be right about everything. I wasn't smoking, or coughing much but elsewhere someone was. Then again I wake up coughing at times.

I dreamt I was sitting in my late father's motor home, and he was sitting in the passenger seat telling me [sitting in the driver's seat] all about it as I was adjusting the mirrors and seat. we were improbably parked inside the living room of some stranger's condominium on an upper floor. then I started the motor home and somehow we drove out of the living room down the stairs to the parking lot. then I awoke.

I dreamt that my ex and I were playing about in the woods. When the sun began to set, I decided to sit down on the ground and lean back against a large tree. She came near, and then decided to sit closely beside me and lean her head back into my shoulder. After a brief moment of absolute silence, she lurched forward, and turned about, and gazed with playful discontent at my shoulder as if it was all wrong. She then punched, poked, pushed and prodded it as if fluffing a pillow, and then turned back and forcefully nuzzled the back of her head into it, after which, she took one of my hands into her own, and then let out a gentle sigh of content announcing that all was well... One of the very few dreams I’ve ever had that I never wanted to come back from.

One night this week I dreamt that I was in a meeting in London with Alex Plank, to discuss the future of this site. It seems that he can’t track progress on every member here and that’s why he went with cloud fare in the first instance.
He looked half as appealing as in his avatar and we were apparently supposed to be on this dinner date thing and I forgot because I’d been sleeping in a library dorm for a considerable amount of time, as well as getting my gear ready to be moved on, only I don’t really know where.
It’s worth noting that this dream was on England soil. Afterward I pondered the reality of this dream and if it made any sense. I’m not an active crusader and I don’t want to be gridlocked into being a subject for a new WP collection.
I hope this didn’t lead on from that reporter dream I had, my feeling is he’s moved up in the world.
That’s FINE, I wouldn’t then need to place doubt on what the meeting was all about.
I’m sure I’m having these feelings of precognitive déjà vu linked to my spirit medium.
He also smiled something in an un-American way, I’ll come back for you and it was raining outside.
Pretty miraculous and mysterious, by method of proxy no less. Result- none.
I would like thoughts on this and what is means. I always sense that these so called dreams are actually about my continuing growth somewhere in a spiritual life, which places me at a hoarders disadvantage.
A library full of my clothes and books stockpiles a mean phase in my mind over which security and safety measures are being taken with strained anxiety and reference but, also borders onto a defence in my mind of volume and shortage being scrapped just to pick up more pace.

Library

To dream of a library represents a search for answers, knowledge, or ideas. You may be questioning some area of your life, be curious about something, or looking for new ideas.

A messy or disorganized library may point to frustration, or total preoccupation with finding the answers you want. You may be having difficulty getting answers or finding solutions.

In terms of this site, then i was guessing the second option, of course, I also have ideas about my future and learning about new things. Having a reality field check could just mean my wisdom has grown in leaps and bounds.

^^^ It all makes growing sense to me. My dreambook is is becoming my new best friend.
The power of dreams is a lucid playing field and needs to be given space I think. Nah!

I usually dream more when I'm anxious , tired or due a period. I never used to mind much in the past, as you usually dream things that you subconsciously want, even when theres no one to explain them to.
Most people can spend half their life sleeping, well its a fact, but poor sleep patterns can make your behaviour erratic and moody in daytime if you can't stabilise your hormones.
At least I'm not on any more birth control pill to regulate me.
Part of why i dream is to distract myself away from mundane everyday thoughts because my life is boring in contrast to what most people do for a living.
I'd much rather have a concrete dream where its going to mean something important in waking life then at least i'd have a drive. I don't always feel refreshed from dreaming, whereby i know its going to be my hormones again.

You wake up with a period, or feel like you've had a hangover, and most of the time, you forget the dream, and feel negative it even happened.
You also remember the bad parts, as if someone is going to kill you, becoz in reality, you lose a lot of blood, so this is something I'm not looking forward to later.
Just be thankful you don't have PMS.

I get a bit frustrated when I have a dream and then it evaporates before I can note it down. :|

I learned to interpret my dreams during my years of Jungian analysis. It's a wonderfully valuable tool. I can do only my own dreams, although I can try to help if others ask.

My dreams are "state of the union" (conscious & subconscious) expressions.

For example, I took up swimming and overdid it a bit. That night I dreamt that the pool was full of real clowns creating pandemonium. The instructor was a boss I had many years ago - he was 5'3" (really) but in the dream he wore stilts in the deep end of the pool. He gave silly orders and spoiled my fun.

So what does this dream mean? It's telling me to chill. Don't superimpose office nonsense onto the pampering experience of that tropical pool. I usually obey my dreams; they have a high record of being right.
