One lovely analogue clock, a digital clock on the oven timer, and a mantle clock. Otherwise just those on electronics.

There are no clocks in any of the bedrooms or upstairs at all. That's on purpose :)

One Victorian mantle clock, one 1960s windup alarm clock, one 1920s alarm clock currently waiting on a new mainspring, two pocket watches, a "motorist's watch" also from the late '20s, and whatever clocks are on appliances. I like clocks.

The old wristwatch was made from a women's pendant watch cut down with wire lugs soldered onto the case by a jeweler. The dial faces up if you have your hands up like you're driving. I believe it was made to be buckled on over someone's gloves when they were driving an old open car.

Indeed, they’re in a big chest at the bottom of my wardrobe: organised by year into cardboard document wallets.

Shirts on hangers or in drawers?

I hang most of my shirts on hangers but have my older shirts I use as pajama shirts in my dresser drawers.

Do you like swimming?

Even murder should be legal. Why not?

Just kidding.

Some government regulation is better than none at all.

But since we are on the subject:

Which hell would you prefer?

Somalia (total anarchy)?

or

North Korea (total authoritarianism beyond that of even any other totalitarian regime)?

Dang.

Like choosing between being burned at the stake, or being buried alive.

Well..being a Somali pirate might be more fun than being a North Korean fisherman.

There is a county on the west coast of Japan where "ghost ships" wash up on the shore. Small wooden fishing boats with dead crew members. The boats seemed to be from North Korea. They even found one with two decapitated heads in one part of the ship, and two headless bodies in another part. The newservice didn't specify whether or not the heads belonged to the bodies or not. Apparently they are mercilessly slave driving their fishermen to catch food for the starving country.
