I use a solid stick deodorant, I actually always get the same kind because I find it works well for me.

Do you prefer a laptop or desktop computer?

Desktop: laptops always seem to have the fans outlets on the bottom, which annoys me
Design flaw!

Do you also pick holes in the design of everyday gadgets & appliances?

Are you a morning person?

I can be with sufficient coffee: but night is better.

Have you ever gazed up at the night sky, and been frightened at the thought of the enormity of it?

I have gazed in such a way, but found it reassuring and relaxing - I like things much greater than myself, they give me a much-needed perspective about my problems and existence being small and fleeting. If this makes sense.

Do you like philosophy? Which kind?

I studied metaphysics, epistemology and ethics. My favourite class ever was Philosophy of Mathematics.

Haha! Yes, that happened once: but hasn’t repeated.

From time to time: I had a big Nietzsche phase in my twenties, then a Marx phase, since then I’ve tended to get more out of the Stoics.

Do you enjoy music theory?

I like music in practice, never cared for the the theory.

Without changing age but not knowing what's going to happen if you pick past, jump 20 years to the past or 20 years to the future?

20 years to the future

If you could travel back in time only once for a 12 hour visit, what date would you pick?

Tough one - I take it it's non-interfering visit, basically just re-living one day of your life? I don't think I'd want that.

Do you like order?

Yes definitely.
Do you have a hard time crying?

I think I'll change my date to 20 August 1972 if that's allowed.

I like physical order but my executive function is out the window lately, and I'm not OCD.

I'm pretty insistent about consistency though, if that counts as conceptual order (justice, etc).

I had a hard time crying when I took Zoloft, but I'm doing a little better now on new meds.

I think I might have cried 3 times in the last 40 years so yes. It also brings me no relief whatsoever, just makes me angrier.

Do you feel (more or less) at peace with who you are, as in do you accept yourself or are you fighting it?
