I almost never drive in the city. I really enjoy driving outside of the city, especially in forest/mountain areas.

Do you ride a bike? Do you enjoy it?

I have visited a few Hindu temples before.

I used to cycle a lot, and mountain bike -- even in the Rocky Mountains.

I don't have a bike any more since my stroke.

Do you like to invent your own recipes?

I don't like following recipes - except when I make something complicated or exotic for the first time - I always adjust them and love making up my own.

Same q

I like following some of my grandmother's recipes to a tee for posterity's sake, but everything else is improvised.

Have you ever watched ER?

I don't know enough about cooking yet to be any good at creating recipes, so until I gain more skill, at least, I use ones that others have made, or I don't use a recipe if it's something simple like grilled cheese.

My mom used to watch ER when I was a kid, I'd occasionally watch with her.

Same question (I had another, but I forgot what it was  )

Yes. I'm on Episode 1 of the DVD boxed set. It will be my second time watching all 15 years worth. It takes about four months. I'm kinda in love with Dr Mark Greene.

Do you know how to knit?

No, but my wife can. She takes a piece of string and 1 to 5 sticks and makes these amazing things that look so much better than the ones you can buy - it looks like magic to me.

Yes. My mom taught me when I was about eight, but I got frustrated and gave up. Then at some point in my teens, she showed me again and I actually started doing it. The only thing I actually finished was a hat that I gave her for Christmas one year, because I knew she'd properly appreciate the value of a hand-knit item. I haven't done it for several years now, but if you give me a skein of yarn and some needles, I would probably remember what to do with them.

Same question.

Yes. My dad taught me. I can knit quite well and I enjoy making baby items the most because they're so cute.

Not at all. I stay up all night and go to bed in the morning, so I can avoid sunlight as much as possible.

Green in the morning, black in the evening.

Which you enjoy more: nature or civilisation?
