I do various, different things in the evening, the only part that's always the same is wash, brush, talk to a man about a horse, grab a big bottle of water and a book and read for a few hours.

What did you cook or eat today?

This morning I made a veggie casserole before heading out to my job in the afternoon.
It contains:
Onion
Garlic
Turnip
Carrot
Parsnip
Green lentils
Mustard powder
Soy sauce
Vegetable stock
& topped with:
Sliced potato, par boiled & drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with black pepper.
It’s in the oven now, going to lightly steam some spring greens to accompany in due course. :)

Same question.

Slices of bread with cheese

will be cooking pea soup for dinner. It's delicious and warm and I'm looking forward to it.

I had potato wedges baked with olive oil, rosemary, parsley, sea salt and black pepper, a fried egg and a handful of grapes.

On the supper menu you'll find bbq pulled chicken wraps, with red onion, kale, and a squirt of lime.

Coriander available by request. ^ Lol

That sounds delicious, Isabella and I wouldn't mind paying Karamazov a visit either

Wanted to restock the freezer for lazy evenings so I made a big pot of Tom Ka Gai and one of shiitake and beef teriyaki.

Did you like music when you were a kid? What kind?

Folk as a little kid (Clannad  ),
Then a Wagner obsession in early teens,
Then Metal, 80s Goth & Grunge,
Then I was no longer legally a minor :D

My earliest musical obsessions were:

Simon & Garfunkel's Greatest Hits (Age 4)

My vinyl recording of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger with the Blustery Day soundtrack.

I still have this one and I play it when I'm stressed.

Christmas Adventures in Disneyland was another of my favourites (a vinyl I got at Disneyland).

I still have it too, but I keyed it and scribbled on the cover when I was cool. :( :( :(

By Age five in our new house, I was listening to my brother's music

Jethro Tull (any and everything)
KISS, especially Detroit Rock City and Beth
That song called "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"
Sweet, Ballroom Blitz
Sugarloaf, Don't Call Us We'll Call You

By Age 6 I was married to Elton John and the rest is history. I divorced him for OZZY at 13.

:P

My schoolmates were all into Shaun Cassidy and The Bay City Rollers, but I was too cool for that.

No telly in my parents house, welsh mountains: we could get talk radio fuzzily if we messed with the aerial enough, that was it!

Mostly classic (big on Bach), didn't have much chance to listen to anything else, not that I'm complaining (for once!)

What did your parents think of your unusual behaviours?

My mum (NT): very understanding & gentle.
My dad (my wife thinks he’s either very high high functioning or closely aligned BAP) zero understanding then, he terrified me as a child.

We don’t mention the subject.
(Otherwise get on well with dad now: he’s not scary now I’m bigger than him  )

To put it politely they were both a***holes.

Do you have/did you ever had a strong desire to pass on your genes?
