Bartender - it was my first non physically crushing job and great fun all around.

On a 1 to 10 scale, how would you rate your childhood?

Maybe a 6. I was bullied a lot during my grade school and middle school years.

Same question.

Interesting...
Home life in and of itself probably 9.4 out of 10,
Add in school: that would knock it back to say 4.8
I guess

What about you?

Wow, your parents must be amazing!

Well, I grew up in what was called back then a "children's home", so I'll generously give it a 2.

What's your favourite hobby or special interest at this time?

I’m sorry to hear that.

Trying to write some miniatures at the moment: finding it quite a mental workout, but also very satisfying in an almost addictive way :D

What’s been your most satisfying interest/hobby?

Water under the bridge :)

It's really a hard choice, but given that I've caught the bug at 5 years old, so it must be the longest-lived one, I'll go with reading.

Same q

The interest which turbo-drives all other interests! :D

Have you ever had an interest which you had to drop because it was bad for you?

Funny you should ask: lucid dreaming.

All my interests were healthy I believe. The bad part was having to drop them because of others bullying or making fun of them , despite how healthy they were, and actively discouraging them,
or life circumstances, getting in the way of them ,
and then later, some trauma related to one

Alchemy.
I never tried anything, but obsessively reading about it didn’t do me any good.
Lived & Learned though :D

I packed my trainset in the attic when I was told it wasn’t grown-up by other kids at school.
Still regret that one...

Is there a book you’ve particularly enjoyed disagreeing with?

Oh dear, where do I start?!

Leibnitz and Hegel have a way of making me start a very heated argument with them in my head

Don't allow others to dissuade you from pursuing what you love: "The dogs bark but the caravan moves on" :)
