Lions or giraffes (cannot choose).

Giraffes make you want to hug them yet you can't.

Hippos might be easier to hug but my brother told me the most deaths caused by land animals (hippos count since they are land and water) is due to hippos... Idk whether that's true.
They look amiable but can be vicious I guess.

Ducks are beautiful.

I got to feed giraffes at a zoo somewhere (don't remember where, just that we were on vacation). They have prehensile tongues.

And I too have heard that hippos are the world's deadliest land animals, though I don't recall where I got that information and so cannot vouch for its authenticity. My parents say that when I was little, I loved watching the hippos at the zoo shake their ears when they brought their heads out of the water.

Hmm, favorite wild animal... that's a really tough decision. Certainly at least one of my favorites is the black-footed cat (I think that's what it was called, at least), a spotted desert cat that's no bigger than an average housecat when fully grown.

Whenever I'm out walking my dog, if there's a worm on the sidewalk I stop to move it into the grass. He probably gets annoyed with me when it's been rainy

I like that one too, but I like the ocelot more. They look very similar.
My elder, my brother said the closest wild animal he looks like is an ocelot.

Hippos have such tiny ears in proportion to their heads haven't they! Lol

I love otters and they remind me of the Sri Lankan cricket team.

The vibes not the look.
How they are all loyal and tribal and light hearted and jolly( seemingly) . i said that and my brother in law said that could be taken very badly--- by Sri Lankans I suppose.

But vibes do come off of people and animals and it's easy to link them but I suppose one must not mention it out loud.

Not really sure.
Music either makes me feel more alive, or it doesn’t: which music type & pieces do which has drifted over time.
Playing music myself makes me feel at like I’m at home in myself.

How old were you when you learned to tie shoelaces?

Night all (zzz)

The rusty spotted cat is the smallest wild cat weighing between 1 and 1.5 kilos

I recently went to my local Zoo to see the Pallas cats, they are ridiculously cute:

That's awesome. It's really sad to trample upon such cute creatures.

I have read that King Solomon or David --one of them--could understand all creatures.

And they were on horses and there was an anthill and he heard the ants say ___ and his men are coming they will crush us etc. So he told his soldiers or whatever thry were to stop and go around them. I think...

But I like that a king could show consideration for ants. Lol

Oh wait it has to be Solomon.

Intrepid is the best word to describe the rusty spotted cat.

Oh I found where that story came from:

“O you ants! Get into your dwellings lest Solomon and his army crush you unawares” (An-Naml 27:18). Etc..

I don't know. I respect ants but bees are better.

I honestly cannot remember, pretty early I guess.

Do you like "repetitive" music (of any kind)?

I don't typically like songs that are repetitive, but I do put songs on "repeat" fairly often, and I hum short tunes repetitively as a stim sometimes.

Same question.

I do play songs on repeat. Sometimes hundreds or thousands of times in a row (e.g., only one song for a month). Lately I've only played one song in my car on repeat, for an hour or two per outing.

In terms of repetitive music itself, I guess it depends. Some drives me mad. Some is soothing and hypnotic.

Does anyone else feel the "shape" of a melody or guitar riff?

I picture some music having a round / rolling quality, or being 3D.

I do yes... or I rewind the same part I like again and again. Similar to my kid except less dependent on it for peace of mind. And the duration of what he likes repeated in the song is shorter.

Yea sometimes. Same thing with fragrances.

John Elder Robison can see it really clearly. It's part of the reason he was so successful at helping the band KISS with guitars and interesting new sounds.

Same Q

This is about John Elder Robison and the band KISS if anyone is interested.
http://jerobison.blogspot.com/p/the-kis ... c.html?m=1

He has Aspergers.

He describes the synaesthesia in detail in his book and how he used that.
