Christmas Eve when I was about seven, in my pretty dress and leotards. I loved walking on our white shag rug in the leotards as a stim  My dad was playing Elvis Christmas music and everyone was dressed up to go to my Uncle's house (where I could always see Rudolph in the sky on the way home at midnight -- it was a red light on top of a tower in the distance). My dad smelled like his aftershave and my mother smelled like her nice perfume. The tree lights were blue and green and the type that shine on / off slowly one at a time. I was holding my favourite doll Amy wrapped in a soft blue receiving blanket and she smelled like vanilla with baby powder. As we were leaving, "The Night Before Christmas" came on the radio spoken by the announcers, with bells and sound effects. I was in awe. I was allowed to listen to the whole thing before we left.

I won't mention that my father passed away several years later on Christmas Eve.

Hard to say, almost all my memories are bittersweet in some way... but if I had to choose...

The day I stopped fearing water.
I was 14. The river was shallow and lazy, with sandy bottom within my hand's reach. My eyes were closed, the sun was shining on my face. I wasn't prepared for swimming, I was wearing my panties and T-shirt. The lazy current carried me and the sandy bottom was at my hand's reach. The mild, soft water was flowing all around me, posing no danger. It was quiet.

Same question.

everytime with ball plays, the ball would get in the canal, and by throwing little stones at it you'd get it back, eventually

I think I answered this question already months ago here, so yeah. The princess' beach n resort with my Quran class n family friends...

but a tie would be the elder attending celebrations n watching fireworks for new yr's ...his happiness n reaction .

Anything positive happening to him n making him happy, is a shoo-in for best memory.

Same Q

2 of my brothers have said that uni ends up being a waste of time and money...

and they would have been better off acquiring real world skills by working ...as that is what employers care about...

Idk if that's true but apprenticeship fr skilled work here is a good alternative

When you have a shutdown do you want to roll up in a small ball, or flop flat somewhere?

I want to curl up somewhere like under a table or chair, or if nothing else is available, in a corner. I apparently like tight spaces.

Same question.

All sorts. I cannot accurately say 1 specific thing because if it's a real shutdown, the way I experience them, my mind cannot process it after the fact.
It feels like reality melting and coming to a halt, I'm barely aware.

Just thinking about it is...ewww. .

Do you currently need or want a haircut?

I want the small spaces too, dnd. I'd love to clear out my closet and put a little lamp in there. Actually I might just have to do that today. It can be my new fort. I used to hide under the chair when I first started trauma therapy, and study under a chair in Uni.

I do need my ends trimmed but I'm not going to bother because he always takes off too much, like 2-3".

I just got a haircut yesterday. Before then I was badly in need of one, my hair was significantly longer than I like it.

Same question.

I gave myself a horrible cut just an hour or so ago...after whenever it was I posted that q. Sporadic.. Just cut off all the dough bits that were damaged somehow .. Now at the back there are many chunks that are v short while the rest of the hair is long (long by my standards).
May look stupid but I can't handle those rough bits.

Plz someone else ask a Q.. I just just saw my previous L at a Starbucks cafe..well he was staring at me and I only realized later... Anyway I cant think straight now :(
