I can touch type very fast, but I don't like using fancy fonts. They usually distract from the message.

same question

What defines a fancy font? I use condensed fonts sometimes to fit more in some scenarios. Otherwise I prefer readability over style. I do use formatting though to make busy documents easier to navigate visually.

Same question.

Fancy to me always meant elegant. I do like the fonts that look like they could have been handwritten though.
Do you like snow?

I like looking at it, I like seeing winter scenes in general. Clearing it not so much. I only like driving on it when having fun getting sideways, otherwise not really.

Same question.

I like snow, it makes everything look so... different and otherworldly. There's a whole different atmosphere.
Do you prefer heat or cold?

I prefer the environment being cold than being too hot. If it's cold I can wear something, but if it's too hot I can't exactly peel my skin. I don't really like being hot and sweaty, especially due to the sensory sensitivity. A coworker called me half polar bear because I keep the office temperature at 68°F (20°C) year round.

Same question.

Cold because I love my weighted blanket.

I hate when my long hair gets all sweaty and sticks to my neck and back. Ponytails and hair ties give me headaches.

Would you rather eat something right now, or have a drink right now?

I'm eating right now because it's my very late lunch. I'd be thirsty though if I didn't drink anything. I might have me a proper drink though when I get home. Day's been pretty "meh".

Hmm... same question?

Drink. I'm almost always thirsty. I'm only drinking water since mid-Feb because of Lent, so to be honest I'd like some whiskey if I could (lol).

Have you been to a nudist beach / location?

8-O No, but if I did I would at least have something to hang my hat on.

Sure, same question.

Yes, I've been to nude beaches, particularly gay nude beaches. It was nothing to write home about.

If you could have a superpower for the next month, what would you choose?

The power to help people who feel futile.

Same question.

That sounds like a good one.

I'd pick the power to assuage people's grief.

Do you know anything about your great grandparents, or did you ever meet them?

Even my maternal grandfather passed away 15 years before I was born.

My great-grandparents? They all passed away by 1950. And many way before then.

I know some of their names on my father's side....and none on my mother's.

Same question.

Great-grandmothers: Priscilla, Florence (Florrie), Ellen (Nellie), Emma.
Great-grandfathers: Alfred, Walter, John, Harry.

In no particular order.

I met Priscilla several times. She died when I was 8.

All of the men were sappers and engineers in WW1.

Who would you most like to meet from your past?

Maybe my great-uncle Max......if he's not too busy.....

Or maybe Max's father, whose name I forget.

I don't believe anyone in my family ever fought in any wars. My father came close to going to Korea, though. He was in the army in 1953; I guess he just got "lucky." My grandfather and his brother Max had some sort of "deferment" from World War I, I believe. My grandfather had just turned 18 about three months before World War I ended. Max might have been deferred because he was the father of kids; he was 28. My brother just missed being drafted to serve in Vietnam.

Any World War 2 veterans in your family?
