No, he has croup right now. Kids that were preemies when they were born, or have asthma, tend to stand a higher chance of a cold developing into croup. Most outgrow it by the age of 5, but he's 10. He's not asthmatic but he was definitely an early bird when he was born.

I confess that the Mum in me is worried. It's 2am here and we just came in from a walk outside. The cold air can help open up the airways. Oh, and apparently we're being bombarded by a snowstorm. Good thing I like snow. lol

I confess....I had to google "croup". Sounds like he is fairly miserable, I hope he gets well soon.


I confess.....it's 2:45AM here, and our snowstorm started a couple hours ago. It must be hitting the whole upper east coast.

I confess that when I logged on, I knew you would be on here. You tend to be a late night..er..early morning kind of guy. Yeah I think it started snowing here around 11pm and it's not supposed to let up until about 3pm tomorrow.

I also confess that the other thing I don't like about winter is shovelling the snow. Love the snow, hate the bitter cold, hate the shovelling.

I confess that I obviously have no concept of time when I posted because it's the same time here as it is at your place. lol

I confess.....once in a while I get lucky and my neighbor clears my snow with his snowblower.

I confess that it's nice to have the blinds open and watch the snow fall. It's been snowing for 17 hours now and it's not showing any signs of stopping any time soon.
