hmm I'm guessing you're not talking about technique? I don't really have a consistent taste, I like some figurative painting and some abstract, mostly contemporary but some classics too.

do you think the Mona Lisa really is a good painting?

good question, there are a dozen different ways people look at/judge art work. I think over all it is a good painting based on the principle of making art something that invokes an emtional response in someone. As well, a succes in technique, great use of almost no expression to convey a lot of emotion, something not that common in it's time. As a success in the mind of the creator, I would highly doubt it, i'm sure, like a lot of dead artists and poets and authors, if they could see the topical discussions around their work they would all do the face-palm and practically cry at how much we overthink and have gotten things wrong.

Renoir. "I sold the Renoir and the TV set, don't wanna get around when this gets loud" --- Duran Duran's "The Reflex".

What is your favorite computer/PSP game?

I really like Tetris, Halo, and the Myst series. I'm not the most avid computer game player, but these ones have been super fun on those occasions.

What do you not like about running? If you could pick any job, what would your dream job be?

Running - I just find it boring. Would much rather walk.

Dream job - I'm already doing it, so I'm lucky.

If you could instantly become really good at a sport, what sport would you pick?

Football! I mean, American football. I want to be the quarterback of the Detroit Lions and restore the roar!

Have you gone to a beach in the past three years?

I walked along one yesterday. It was a cool, windy day, so I didn't swim or even paddle. I prefer beaches when it's not hot and sunny, though. 8)

I admire the quality of patience in other people, because I can be quite cranky and it's nice if someone can put up with me,.

Do you have a pet?

I have a male dash-terrier and a female turtle cat both about 9 months old. They are quite a team, always tearing the house up and wrestling, but with me they are so gentle and that's good enough for me

What are the specifications of your computers core hard-wear?

Core hardware? 1 GB memory and 32 GB of space, I think...

Sigh.

Do you need someone to comfort you now?

I dont really need someone comforting me, per-say. But i did have a really strange dream in which a particular friend said something very off-putting about me (i over heard her saying it in the dream, not something said to me). It was very vivid and has stuck with me all day and I wish I could call her and say "what the hell was that all about in my dream last night." That would comfort me right now because i cant stop thinking about it.

Ever have a really bizarre and vivid dream you cant get out of your head?
