reviewing my lecture slides for intro to the criminal justice system.

Quote:
Theories of offending
•The Bell Curve (Herrnstein and Murray, 1994)
–“Many people tend to think of criminals as coming from the wrong side of the tracks. They are correct insofar as that is where people of low cognitive ability disproportionately live.” (p251)
–Argued that low IQ is responsible for crime

so analytic, so deep. pearls. so much thought must have gone into this theory.

Hello people. Monkey and Rabbitears have had a change of plan and you should think of us now as a brother/sister double act. Our relationship became less based on "mating" and more on simple companionship. I am sad, but this is merely a transition to a hopefully life long friendship.

Love is love.
The nature of the love, or the expression of it does not matter.
You are two people who are meant to be part of one another's lives, and you always will.
Many people will never have a soul mate or 'Anam Cara' as you two have.

Thanks, people above and too true Sylkat! I do not wish for sympathy or anything, no one has died. We are remaining close, in fact seeing each other in a couple of weeks anyway.

^ I'm glad to hear that the transition went smoothly. Its a shame when you hear of other people going through this and end up not being friends at all after such a level of closeness. Does Rabbitears still come on here? Don't think I've seen him post in a while.

MONKEY - Sorry to hear that your "mating" relationship with RabbitEars didn't work out. But at least you two are still close, and that's the most important thing.

Yep. I am so glad the transition went as smooth as it did. He says he loves me more than anyone in the world, but just in a more "sister" way.
It's gone that smooth it's like Type 4 on the Bristol stool chart.

you can find it funny. i expect most people would find what we learn in this course funny.

my neighbour is sobbing. would he think it creepy or a violation of his privacy if he is having a moment to himself if a disembodied voice from over the fence asked him if he were okay?
