that is the only way i am able to remain financially solvent. invest in dividend-paying blue chips, you'll do alright. most of us can't get in on IPOs and will never find the next amazon or such. so dividend-paying investments [stocks and REITs] are the way to go.

Yes, I use to be into dividend blue chips more but now im more into just a vanilla no-load low fee index fund and buy Apple on the dip
