The subject that I had the most trouble in is Physics. I loved Physics in school, but I struggled to grasp its concepts, so how can I ever do it? How can I apply those formulae? Sigh...

So yeah, never mind.

What do you wish on your birthday then? (Open to all users)

I'd rather listen to The Beatles than give you a Birthday kiss. I only like The Beatles half as much as The Kinks.

Why are people so worldly?

There is something I wish would happen on my Birthday. which is actually today. its kinda funny to turn 20 on the 20th. but yea the one thing i wish would happen is for the only person, other than my mother, that I sincerely loved to call me up and say shes moving back to this end of the country. that way I could have some nuts this time and actually tell her how I feel instead of letting her move away thinking I only saw her as my best friend like before. But id like to not think about this anymore on whats supposed to be a happy day. Although in my mind I never wander far from the darkest loneliest room in the house as if tethered to the floor by a chain of memories. Something we are all susceptible to I think. Sorry If I'm getting everyone down. I just wanted to answer honestly.

Hey Redd, being incredibly honest is apparently what turns women on...
Also, being deep, cryptic and unavailable!
Why don't you send her a quick e-mail?
Something short and sweet like,
"Hey babe, it's my birthday...guess what I want...?
...A phone call from you!"

no, wait, that sounds to needy...just try the top sentence and see what happens!

Are you needy?

Yes, I'm a good hugger. (Here are some hugs for you, CockneyRebel. ((((( ))))) What's wrong?)

Do you tend to be stubborn about a lot of things?

Yes, I call myself 'the stubborn one'.

Do you like Brit-pop?

It's been taking me a long time to get over my Grandpa's death, and there's this ditsy blond girl who keeps on asking me the same questions about my dog, whom I miss very dearly, though I see him, once a week. My mum also can't stand that her 35 year old firstborn is a pure and innocent Christian who happens to have virgin ears, pretty much like her idol and role model. Society also expects me to have a stiff upper lip and to hold back my emotions. Stupid society.

Don't worry, you're now in a not-so-stupid world with us. :)

Another question I'd want to ask: Do you like Oasis's music?

Are you needy?

Hell no im not needy. I hope I did'nt sound like it. its not that im someone who cant get women this one was just different because I actually cared for her which I had never done before and haven't done since. Ive been with alot of girls in my life but I always end up thinking I like them alot in the beginning then as time goes on our incompatibilities become more apparent and I find that they mean nothing too me. Then my mind always wanders back to the one I lost.
I actually keep in touch with her. I just wish I could see her again. But shes found someone else so If i did see her again although I still have feelings for her I wouldn't want to tell her now for fear of ruining what she has with her man now and making all of our lives more complicated. So im definitely not needy. I'm content to put up with shallow relationships ive been having until I can find someone like her again. but i cant see that happening

Don't worry, as long as you are ready to have a lady by your side, the lady will just appear and I am sure you will seize the opportunity to have her as your lifelong partner.

What thoughts or memories tend to flow through your mind at any given point of the day? there is no need to specific..

(Judging by your signature, Timelady, you're a bit of a David Tennant fan. What do you think of the new Doctor? I've seen a LOT of Doctors come and go- Tom Baker is still my favourite, I think, but that's because I'm old. )

(Sorry you've been under so much stress, CockneyRebel. I hope you're feeling a bit better. :sunny: )

Question- What's the best way to cheer up someone who's feeling down?
