I think I have some kind of ocd where this issue is concerned because it niggles away at me for hours and I'm trying to find some way to pacify my compulsion but unfortunately until it fades there is nothing to ease my pain.

^ People who want to do a s**t on my rants.

When people diagnose their baby with autism, and you meet the baby (like 8 months old) and they're developing normally and making eye contact and everything. Maybe because the baby isn't talking yet so the parents are all like "the baby isn't talking! It means autism!" without understanding that most babies don't talk at 8 months.

When I respond to a post then realise they were joking, edit my post and then the other person has already responded.

People who jump in and say you're wrong, no matter what you write or say.
Especially when they base their opinion on a 30-second Google search.

One of those threads that requires a pointless one-worded answer that some users post every day in and none of the answers get read but the same thread lingers at the top of a subforum forever and makes all the other threads get unnoticed.
For example (as not to offend anybody I will use a non-existing thread as an example): "Post when you blink!"

I did do one thread like that once ("post when you burp") but that didn't live very long and I done it as more of a discussion thread.

Also when users start a thread ranting about themselves BUT word the thread like it's actually asking your experiences but even though you relate you feel you can't really put a rant about your experiences because you feel like you're hijacking the thread on to yourself.

I really dislike getting sandwich meat that is supposed to be sliced for sanwhiches & the meat is shredded instead. Or the meat is sliced correctly but folded together weird & squished together so it's impossible to not shred.

When people give you a list of foods to eat to avoid catching colds - and most of the foods I don't like.
I mean how can anyone eat nuts? Just the smell of nuts makes me feel sick. And how can people drink tea? I've tasted it before and it just tastes like your own saliva after a rich meal or something. Yuk.

Fruit and certain vegetables are the healthiest foods I eat, but I still don't want a shopping list every time I talk about how much I hate having a cold.

Oh, and speaking of colds - another pet peeve of mine is colds. They're the bane of your life.
