OK so about two weeks ago I ordered something off of eBay for my birthday, and they didn't ship it. I sent them three messages over the past week, the first asking where it was, the second asking for a refund if they didn't ship it and the third threatening to file a claim with eBay if they didn't ship it. Today I logged onto eBay and saw that they finally shipped it, and not only that, but gave me positive feedback.

I feel like such a b***h right now, this whole time I thought I got swindled out of my money and bothered those nice people when in reality something probably came up to where they couldn't get to the computer right away, just as Mom said probably happened.

Don't feel like a b***h. They had every obligation to ship the item in a timely manner, and they should have replied to your messages. I'd leave them neutral feedback in return.

I once had a DVD boxset from Ebay that took 12 weeks. Yes. 12 Weeks. It was too late to leave them any feedback whatsoever by the time it came (you only have 60 days to leave feedback once you buy the item).

So I just wrote a long-ass (for me) post.

And, like I always do after one of those, I clicked submit, clicked to view the message, and went into a flurry of scanning for errors, editing, rescanning, re-editing, trying to finish before someone else posted in the thread (because then it starts showing the number of times it's been edited) or, god forbid, quoted my post in its unpolished state.

It's nerve wracking.

This despite the fact that there's hardly anyone on here right now, and despite the fact that there's a convenient "preview" button right next to "submit" that could solve all my problems but which I, for some reason, never think to use.

If only I could do that in real life though, I might have, you know, friends and stuff.

Edit: and damn, I did end up quoted before my last edit went through. Why do I think anyone will notice or, even if they did notice, care?
