Please tell me how to post a photo. I have no idea.

First you need to do a right click on the picture, then select 'Save image as'. This will put the image into one of your folders (usually 'Pictures' or 'Downloads')
Then you need to access one of the image-sharing sites (eg Imgur, Photoshack, Postimage). I use Postimage as you don't need to register with them. When prompted, you click on your image in your picture folder then click on 'open', which will generate a number of codes. You copy (control C) one of these codes ('Direct Link' is best) then click on the 'mountain' icon above the WP posting window, then paste (control v) the code into the 'Enter a link for image' window. Hey Presto!
It sounds complicated, but the best way to get the hang of it is to keep playing around and experimenting till you get it right. You can't do any damage no matter how often you get it wrong....
