Trying to not state that I'm autistic in a public setting due to what has happened in CT due to possible backlash. Yes, I know this sounds silly but, I sincerely would not want to think of me as being criminally dangerous just for being autistic.

I had nightmare that all I got was a woman's magazine, nuts and an orange in my stocking. I was upset in that dream that my mum didn't give me that Kinks magazine and my sister was in a very bitchy mood, because she didn't get her woman's magazine. My mum said, "You're pretty choked up about that woman's magazine." She said to my dad, "Next year just let me fill the stockings!" She turned back to me and asked, "You have Gender Identity Disorder, don't you?" I told her I did because it's the truth.

My sister stormed onto the couch with my niece holding up that Kinks magazine, asking "Why would I want to read about an old British group if I like Top 40?" My mum switched our magazines as fast as she could and dad came into the TV room asking, "What's going on?" Mum answered, "I'm doing the stockings from now on, because you don't know what you're doing when you're drunk!" My dad came up to me and he kept on apologizing. Kenny and Adria just sat there laughing.

My parents lived in a run down house in the country, instead of the half decent trailer that they live in in real life.

What a slow day for me.

I'm very tempted to write an "editorial" to the newspaper that my uncle is an employee of, explaining what Autism and Asperger's really are after the CT shooting, but I fear a backlash from people who may write responsive crap as:

"Autism is a hoax."

"The writer of the editorial is a fake!"

"We choose bigotry over acceptance."

...and so on and so forth.

I think I'm going to puke now.

I like the holidays,
A break from the norm that can sometimes take me sideways,
I miss the normal everyday things I usually do,
But I love to see my family again and like when they say we missed you,
This poem may be corny and cheesy,
But writing it was awfully easy,

I also enjoy the holidays.

I also don't agree with people who say ignorant things about autism.

I want to take a nap soon.

And I agree with CockneyRebel.
