a "sausage sandwich" is a simple compilation of a sausage cut into strips laid onto a buttered fresh bread slice, and topped with a small amount of fried onions and i like tomato sauce (not barbecue sauce) and topped with another buttered fresh bread slice.

so i merrily set off to the sandwich shop (8 km away!!) and i ordered the "sausage sandwich" and i was confronted with the information that they did not make "sausage sandwiches".

"what the hell can i do? " i thought. i started to wonder about going to the butchers to purchase a sausage, and prepare a sausage sandwich for myself, but i then read on the menu board of the shop (that could not do the sausage sandwich for me), that they did do ham and cheese and tomato toasted sandwiches.

i decided to buy one and broaden my culinary horizons, but i did not like it because i dislike the taste of slices of processed ham.

whatever.

Go to your nearest Bunnings on the weekend. I almost guarantee you will find a sausage sizzle stall out the front.

My computer keeps randomly shutting off. It just did for the 5th time so I said screw it and am now on the tablet. Hopefully a few hours rest is all the computer needs cuz it won't stay on long enough for me to scan for malware.

At about 3 this morning, I had been lying in bed with what I hoped was a growing pain, when I realised I should have been somewhere after I left here yesterday.

I completely forgot, and i mean completely, about the bands thing my music group was playing at. We'd been practising for ages, but because I hadn't been at school (Work experience instead) I had no one to remind me. And I thought my Mum was the really forgetful one.

So I feel like all that practise at a song I grew to like was for nothing. I just hope my music teacher gets the message that I forgot, and i hope I found out if everyone managed without me.

Oh trust me that's a hardware issue and the reason I ditched all my previous computers since no-one could fix it.

where i live now is about 45 minutes from the nearest "bunnings", and i do not desire a sausage sandwich to the degree that i would drive for 45 minutes to get there, and then drive for 45 minutes to get back. an additional complication is the fact that i do not rise before about 2.00pm on the weekend, and even if i went to bed dressed, and sprang out of bed at 2.00pm and floored it to bunnings, by time i got there, the "sausage sizzle" persons would have long departed.

i only desire a sausage sandwich about once every 8 weeks and so i think i can phase them out of my diet. it was because i went to that shop with the express purpose of obtaining a sausage sandwich and i was denied one, that i went into a bewildered fluster which resulted in an ill conceived acquisition of a toasted ham and cheese and tomato sandwich (the ham and cheese and tomato were not toasted) which i disliked.
it was a major problem.

Had a great day at work, then on the way home got abuse from some wannabe gangsta c**t for no reason at all, then about a minute later got yet more abuse from yet another wannabe gangsta c**t who beat my dad up a couple of years ago - again for no reason whatsoever.

I wish I had a gun.

I went to the canteen for lunch today and decide to have the soup. They let you cut your own slice of bread off the loaf and I've always had difficulty doing that (motor control-wise). One of the staff there made fun of my inability to cut a proper slice and then asked if I wanted them to cut another one for me. I thought (but didn't say) along the lines of, "just because this one's not cut perfectly, that doesn't make it taste any worse or anything. What a strange question.".

There are 4 90+ days in the 10 day forecast and the rest are 80+. Having a second air conditioner helps but the living room (which is where my computer is) still gets hot and the dining room kind of does too since the first air conditioner doesn't work that great. Yesterday I could tell the rat was hot.

Also I need to wear jeans a a long sleeved denim shirt most of the day because my kitten gets too frisky and rough and I'm covered in scratches. He jumps all over me and when I'm standing climbs up my leg and right up to my shoulder.
