Hmmmn... To live a nice life, I guess, not to come to a tragic end. The finitude of life and everything.

Not Military disarmament, end to world hunger, save the dolphins, thats all good, but , everybody gotta look out for #1, right?Their own immediate circle and interests.

Do you believe that life on earth is veil of tears, a hopeless corrupt place, that can bring only misery, or a potential paradise in the making?

I believe life is what you make it. But of course lot of bad sh1t happens. It's deep philosophical question. Nietzsche believed in naysayers/yaysayers, ascending path/ descending path. I'm somewhat ambivalent. Life can be Hard. But at times good. A mixed bag.
