I'm hopeless at it. I can tinker quite successfully with laptops, but that probably doesn't count. I've never used a drill, and wouldn't know where to start if I tried to put up a shelf or something.

Do you have much to do with your neighbours?

Not a lot.
Haven't even met the ones on the south side yet, but I've looked at them through binoculars.

South side - Nice divorced woman, older than I am. I like her but she can be really chatty so I have to avoid her. Last winter I was stuck outside about 20 minutes in the snow in my socks with no coat or anything. She just wouldn't stop.

North side - The man is an idiot. The wife seems OK but she's very quiet and submissive so I don't know her well.

The people behind me are horrible. They abused my dog.

Do you make to-do lists, or just do?

I'm not a neighborly person.

I make lists, then procrastinate, while making more lists.

Yes, pretty much - except for this past month I'm being a sloth.

I don't think I have much choice in the matter. Of course I'd like the house to be immaculate. But I'm a guy, and housework isn't one of my main priorities or enthusiasms. I keep things tidy...enough.

Water. Occasionally coffee. (I drink water with everything. Neutralizes acid PH quickly, helps prevent tooth decay.)

(Isabella): Nothing. I've given up drinking (alcohol), at least until 1 February, and, if possible, until 20 February - I doubt whether I'll manage the latter.

At what age did you have your first alcoholic drink?

Other than having a sip of things? The first time I drank socially with friends to be cool was probably 13.
