i got to listen to "The Swing Years and Beyond" [on KUOW 94.9.1FM, seattle, WA, also available online]- a fantastic music program of music dating from the dawn of recorded sound up until the 60s. normally it doesn't come in out in the sticks where i live but today the atmospheric conditions were just so, so it came in quite clearly.

other than that, i found some inexpensive couscous at the local scratch-n-dent food store, that stuff normally costs 3 flippin' bucks a box, but at the cheapstore, it cost .59 cents a box. one less thing to worry about.

Watching the movie Coraline. I enjoyed it much more than I expected I would. The animation is absolutely gorgeous and the characters are awesome. :D

I've reminded myself that it was this month, back in 1964 that Mick Avory joined The Kinks. A little flicker of light in the midst of all the emotional turmoil that I seem to be displaying on WP at the moment. :)

Receiving a total of $35 in compensation for a survey I completed. :D It was more than enough to buy the DVDs I wanted.

I ordered a Buffalo Bills jacket for spring. I was happy it has a decal of a buffalo on the front.

I liked that movie as well! :D

Thing that made me happy today: I bought an updated and expanded encyclopedia on Marvel Comics characters! :D

I sorted out a problem on my pc that was making a programme hang - I disabled one of the 2 tv tuners and it seems to be okay now. :)
