I think that men should not have a say in the abortion debate. They aren't the ones who will be affected.

And I think it's unfair someone has the unquestioned right to kill the child carrying my half of the DNA. If women want 100% rights to kill at will, then they should waive the right to any child support.

Knives are better weapons than guns.

I couldn't agree more! My body, my consequence, my choice.

I agree with BlueMax. Women seem to forget that men also are affected in more than one way, and seem to think women's rights should always take higher priority. The word "equality" sometimes makes me laugh.

Not that I would ever impregnate a woman any way, or get involved with one.

Of course women's rights should take higher priority when it's our bodies! The day you men can get pregnant, you can do what you want with your pregnancy, without consulting anyone else.

Well, then women should deal with all the consequences by themselves and not expect men to help in any way afterwards.

I think women can abort since they have to carry the baby but I only think abortion is okay before the fetus has a heartbeat, other than that and I think it's too late. Or something like the 3-day after pill that stops sperm from reaching the egg. That way, it won't be considered murder. btw, Say the man does want to keep the baby and the woman doesn't, then you have a 50% Nay. But 50% isn't enough to win the game, so it's still equality when she decides to abort sincethe man doesn't have a majrtiy vote. In addition, if the man does not like it, then he can simply leave.

Then you can do it without HIS money. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
To decide unilaterally who lives and who dies, without any consideration to anyone but herself is damned selfish.

This thread completely debunks autistic superiority.

Pretty easy to find a thousand other threads that'll do the same. We're mostly aspies here but still very, randomly human.

We don't decide who's to live and who's to die  we decide whether or not to become mothers ourselves.
And if I wanna get an abortion done, I don't need HIS money, abortions are free here. The only thing that would cost is if I took a regret pill or abortion pill instead, and they're not that expensive, so he can let HIS money buy the prostitute or sex toy he's gonna need when women are too bright to let HIS desire get them in trouble (prevention doesn't always work).
The only immorality is having men decide what women can and can't do with their bodies. Same as it's a man's choice and his alone if he wants to be sterilized.
Demanding a woman to go through something that holds many dangers because someone else wants it, is selfish. Thankfully it's also illegal in most of the civilized world.

It's not a life before it's born IMO so I have no problems with the law as it is today (any woman can have an abortion up to the 12th week after she lost her period).

This thread is awesome! I like being able to say what I really think. And we're neither inferior or superior.

"Not a life before it's born..." Bet you got yourself convinced it's nothing more than a blob of goo... a very popular thought.

...but it's pointless for me to continue... I doubt there's anything on Earth that would change your mind.

Then according to the diagram, I think 2 month mark is okay for abortion since the heart isn't beating until 2 months. So that's why I don't see a moral problem, but after that i wouldn't consider it.

/\/\/\ Just a reminder, people (from page 9 in this thread)...

A reminder - while it is Ok to post unpopular opinions here, this is not the place to debate them.
That should be done by creating a thread in the PPR forum where the site rules are better suited for some of the more contentious topics raised here.

There's plenty of room for another fight in the fight cage...

^^^ Point taken. Being told I don't deserve to have any rights at all just rubs me the wrong way. It's those same people who thought it's a "woman's right" to kidnap my children, demand money, and laugh at my inability to do anything about it.
