All I remember is walking down a country road with some people and seeing a hedgehog dying on the grass verge. Possibly surreal gruesomeness coming up... It looked like it could have been hit by a car, but didn't look like a) normal roadkill, or b) it had been savaged. Instead of what you might expect, its injuries exposed a substanced like when you begin to knead bread dough or pull taffy, and almost the same colour as bread dough. It looked like someone had tried to peel it from the back but stopped halfway. The worst part - the headhog was clearly still allive and was trying to move away. I just carried on walking.

Tell me what that means.

I dreamed
I was a flock of crows.

Not watching it.
Not in it.

The flock.

——————————

When I’m really sick
I dream shapes.

For instance
I’ve dreamed triangle.

Not a triangle,
or that triangle,
but triangle.

I dreamt I was reading what was supposed to be the Catcher in the Rye. The book was weird. But when I was more than half of the way through it, awareness of reality set in, and I realized what I was reading was nothing like what the book is really like. So in the dream, I realized the book I was reading was some kind of sequel to it, and I was annoyed because I had to read the book for school and now I would have to get the right book and start all over again.

i dreamt i was leaving work late at night or early in the morning before sunrise, and as i was walking to my car i noticed newspapers had been placed under the windshield wipers of some of them, and i approached my car and saw my boss placing a newspaper under my windshield wiper, and i exclaimed to her, "what the hell is going on here?" and she was taken aback by me swearing at her, and calmly explained that it was a literacy promotion put on by the post command.

That is so beautiful! I love you! Come back and say more!
Of course you (and we) are each a flock of crows - a gathering of particles,
free-winged, multi-directional, scary, from the dark side.

Also this is synchronicity - I watched Hitchcock's The Birds last night for the first time.
It wasn't scary. But now you've given it another dimension ...

Could this have anything to do with British Trains refusing to save hedgehogs any more? It used to be that a train would accept a shoebox with a wounded hedgehog in it and deliver it free to the only vet in the country that treats them, at the very end of that line. England was famous for this humane gesture. Then protesters demanded better accommodations for the hedgehogs, putting the Trains as abusers, so they announced they couldn't afford it and wouldn't accept wounded hedgehogs any more. They "just carried on."

Last week, I dreamt that I have superhero powers. I can't remember what power exactly but I was sure that it took me to different countries. Flying, maybe? Or perhaps time travel?

It's curious---I haven't dreamed for over ten years that I could fly. Before, I did often. I didn't have wings or anything like that; it required some kind of "concentration" which involved tensing up. Sometimes the flying was easy, with little tension; sometimes all the tension I could punish my body with only got me to rise very slowly through the air, and I'd begin to fall with the slightest distraction, or simply when I got tired.

By the way, I seem to have lost the ability to fly in my dreams when I got really fat in real life.
