I think there was a link between all my dreams, last night i dreamed of cracked picture frames and burning photos, it must mean an end to something. You've helped me understand my dreams better. Thank you so much!

I dreamt a mélange of things, mainly centering around my late folks, and their medical travails, combined with my army and civil service experience from a while ago. I was riding around in my late father's wonderful old Mercedes 300D, it rode like a bank vault on wheels, and he was tearing around the streets like he'd never do in real life, as he treated it like the cream puff it was while alive. we did lotsa sharp turns and jackrabbit starts [something a diesel NEVER would do in real life] and diving stops, quickly stopping at a gas station and then jumping in and out of other places. then we ended up at a veteran's hospital where dad was supposed to have a medical appointment, only thing was the nurse took off early for the afternoon and we went there for nothing, when I found out I cussed out loud in a scatological manner [!], and then the next thing I knew I was resting outside on a hammock in the shade at some property I hadn't seen since I was a kid, and the nurse from the VA showed up and asked me why I was so upset, and I told her I don't like having my and my family's time wasted, and she sorta apologized and told me she had a family obligation to take care of, and I said words to the effect of "oh, ok then." then she took me to the local army fort hospital, where I stripped out of my street clothing, walked naked through the halls until they gave me a hospital gown to wear, then I found myself back at my old army post duty station, but in the present day [3 decades after I was stationed there in waking life], my pony tail was exceptionally bushy and I tried to stuff it under my hospital bouffant cap, wondering when they were gonna tell me to shave it all off, only the section sergeant just asked me why I got back in the army and made other small talk, then I awoke.

Sorry for the late reply, i didn't see this comment and i don't always get notified if someone has replied to me. Wow what a dream. Sounds like you're reflecting alot on a combination of things such as relationships with your folks to your past experiences being part of the army and civil service. I wonder if the ride in the mercades and stripping off your street clothes to wondering when they ask you to cut your hair symbolises wanting freedom, perhaps you felt restricted or in real life you feel as if you're taking orders, not feeling in control of oneself or under someone elses authority? interesting dream and thank you for sharing.

I'm sorry to hear that. Sounds like you've been trying to please others whilst it has made you unhappy and felt restricted and you're probably a people pleaser. Sounds to me that the dream is trying to tell you to become more assertive and rebel a bit.

I wish that in the dream I coulda just stayed resting in the hammock on the beach.

Wow you're really good at this! i am indeed a cat lover and love cats and dogs, both the animals i've dreamed off have been black and been injured or dead though. I saw the dead cat so maybe i am not in touch with my feminine power. That is true that i need to process things in smaller sizes otherwise i get overloaded. Thank you so much.
