Do you know when sirens within UK police cars changed to a more American-style siren?

Chicken curries (ready meals) a couple of times a month.

Did my 'Smith and Jones' video from the mid-1980s assist you with the 'police sirens' question? Addressed primarily to kraftiekortie, but other responses welcome.....

Rarely eat Indian food. I do not have anything against it, but I don't cook, or eat at restaurants. Ready to eat food too much sodium

Did not watch video

Don't know about sirens

Yep....thanks, DeepHour!

I sort of wish they would have kept the old sirens.

Would you rather be clever----or would you rather be a straightforward intellectual?

I'd probably do better, overall, as a "straightforward intellectual."

There are limits to my "cleverness."

Would you prefer a porch in the front, or a deck in the back (of a house)?

Don't fully understand the question - I don't want a front porch and I don't know what a 'deck' refers to (USA to UK culture/language issue?). I suspect I wouldn't want the latter either, whatever it is.

Do you live in a detached dwelling or is it attached in some way to the neighbouring dwelling? In the UK we call houses of this sort 'terraced' (houses on both sides) or semi-detached (one other house attached). Or if you live in a flat (apartment), then that is clearly not 'detached'.

Clever intellectual,

No deck, porch, or detached dwelling

Complete college, motorcycle race, solo sail, travel the world, learn photography, and backpack the mountains and deserts.

Detached house.

I have a deck and a front sunporch, and a conservatory. I'd rather have a big front porch if it was more private and not facing visitors. Actually, the ideal would be a wrap-around porch.

Do you like cars with sun roofs? Or not?

Not particularly necessary for me. I'd rather just have a plain roof with one less element to worry about.

Favourite chocolate bar?
