I'm joining the Valley archery range, which is 15 minutes down the road; $50 annually.
I need to call them up to let my experience known; I don't particularly want to go through a beginner's course when I'll know all that will be taught (I've been shooting bows for 10 years now). Well, that's what they ask you to do. Good therapy for me there, to talk to them, and also go down to the range and stick arrows into a proper target and not lose them (the amount I've lost here is...somewhat, well, about what you'd expect for someone who sucks at archery like me 
). They want to know if you have any specific illness/disability -- I don't think I'll bother mentioning the ASD on the forms.
I'd like to enter the "barebow" competitions eventually when I can make decent groups* at 50 meters (that's just a bow without any sights, stabilizers and other aids to help in aiming); not a fan of sights and such on bows, and it makes it too much like firearm shooting (I'd just do that if I wanted to hit targets easily).
*That's how close you can put arrows together
