But I don't like ladies bikes, they just look too....LADYLIKE. I don't want to look dainty while riding.

I want to look sporty. There's something about ladies bikes; the seats are lower and the handlebars higher, and they have that low step over bar (just incase we're wearing a 19th century style empire skirt).

Another person seemed to think I was my mother's BF today. Her running into someone she knows with me in tow, and talking to her later on on the phone, 'who was that tall and large man with you!' In that tone.

I'm an old (actually, my mother looks way too young for her age) disabled man who shouldn't look so normal, really.

I often can't help but marvel at how mature and accomplished so many people my age or even younger tend to be.
