No.

I think there is a nutrient deficiency in everything from our soil to the animals we eat. I think there are microplastics in everything, including the animals we eat. There are toxins in our water. But mostly, our health problems are because of our diet of carbohydrates and omega-6 oils.

idk, its kinda fishy that the more industrial-medicated meat is promoted to be healtier
cows live outside, chickens rarely do, forget about the (bio-)salmon industry
anyway, too much of anything can be bad-- your cellphone, your medication, and everything care-creams too

Don't know, but I hardly ever eat any beef these days, largely because of the supposed health risk.

And what about pork, bacon, etc? Do you avoid that?

I am eating far more pork sausage, bacon etc than I probably should. That's my own fault for being so weak-willed, and the fault of these meats for being so tasty, lol!

What is your favourite fish dish?

aside from smoked salmon and smoked trout, i don't know what it's called but i got it at the space needle restaurant in 1993, it was a salmon wrapped around a trout wrapped around a haddock. delicious when cooked properly, they first served it to me RAW! :eew: then i sent it back to be more fully cooked, then it was good.

I like salmon and trout, also plaice and basa. Cod and haddock are also good in fish fingers. Sardines in tomato sauce are a decent and very cheap option as well.

What is the cheapest meal you can buy in a restaurant these days? I'm including the likes of McDonald's under the term 'restaurant'. by the way.

in my neck o' the woods, mickey-d's [americanese for mcdonalds] sells a bacon double cheeseburger, if you buy two of 'em, for 4 bucks total. only thing cheaper is their dollar menu.

Not sure but it should be around $10. I stopped eating out many years ago because I know most restaurants are unethical when it comes to hygiene etc (not washing hands after using the toilets, serving expired food, serving food that dropped on the floor, serving leftover from the previous customers etc...)

Do you like coffee from Mac Café (McDonald's café section)?

No, I make my own coffee at home.

Do you find Starbucks overrated?

Kind of yes. Their coffee used to be excellent but now they are trying to save cost by making weaker coffee. I know some people have stopped going to Starbucks because of that.

Starbucks doesn't make coffee.

I buy freshly roasted beans, grind them at home to the required grind, and then make coffee the way the Italians do: I use a percolator.

When not at home and I really want a coffee and feel I can put up with the sensory barrage at a cafe then I will choose an independent. We have loads of those in the UK. When I went to the US once I couldn't believe how little competition there was - just two or three mega chains producing what is basically mud infused with caffeine. Do you need to know where to look?

Do you do mindfulness?

I often hear this term 'mindfulness' but only have a very vague idea about it. So I don't think I'm doing whatever that is.

What fruits/veggies do you eat regularly?
