It is really quite cold here now, especially since the sun has gone down. Glad it is almost Spring time in a month or so. 8)

i showed my ten year old sister this video because i knew she'd find it funny. it's our dad exactly and i know she gets crap from him. she did find it funny. when i saw her again a few days later she told me she showed it to her friend but he didn't get it; not just because he couldn't understand the one or two sentences in arabic but also because he's not arab and doesn't have arab parents who tried to teach them after school and destroyed their love of learning and threatened their safety. my dad was so much more aggressive with me though. she got off easily because she's the youngest.

Lovely! I used to be able to make nice bread as a teen when my parents had a coal fire, the dough would rise perfectly in front of the hearth on a cold day like this. Perfect day to get my bread made. I've never been able to make bread as good since, radiators just don't seem to do the job.

The world seems to be less unisex than it was in the 80s. It bothers me, because we seemed to be going in the right direction back in those days and now it seems that everything has spiraled backwards since than. Women's tops are so tight that they almost look like corsets.
