Yes. Although it made it easy to decide what to wear (no choice), I hated the idea that I was wearing exactly the same ugly thing as other boys.

What's your favorite cake?

Moist chocolate would be my standard answer.
Though I actually like that cookies and cream icecream cake I had that one time...

Same question.

A box set of the 1970 BBC serial The Six Wives of Henry VIII.

What's on yours?

A floor lamp? Not sure. Ideally yet another bookcase and a room to put it in.

In terms of food - I'm out of coffee and lettuce.

What are you looking forward to this week?

Getting the bloody 'Bank Holiday' or 'long weekend' out of the way. Then at least the buses will be running a normal service, the shops will be open, post will be delivered, etc.

Is it a 'long weekend' in your part of the world as well?

My entire life is a long weekend, but no it's not.
Unless you count May Day chaos.

Do you know how to play Chopsticks?

No, and I've only actually used chopsticks for eating food once in my life (I was surprisingly good at it -Gerard Street in Soho, London, circa 2001).

Do you like Chinese food, and if so, which dish or dishes in particular?

Meh -- it all tastes the same to me. I prefer Thai.

If I had to have Chinese I guess I'd get something Szechuan so I could possibly taste it.

Do you drink enough water?

Probably, though only via numerous daily consumptions of tea and coffee - does that count?

How much do you pay for the supply of water to your residence per annum?

That's a lot!! !!

£286 for the latest year. That's around $350 in US currency and $460 in Canadian dollars, I believe.

Is it expensive to heat your house?

My water is about $480 every three months.

Heat is around $250-something per month. But that includes anything on gas, not just heat.

same q

My combined gas and electricity bill has been fairly reasonable so far (around £80 per month), but it's due to go up by 50% in the next few weeks, and another 50% in the autumn. So maybe £180 by the end of the year. For someone on a monthly income of just over £1000 per month, that's pretty serious stuff..

Do you like muesli?

My electric is about $150 on top of gas and water, and I barely even use electric. I hate lights and live in the dark. I don't do radio or tv. I don't have a microwave. I have no idea WTF costs so much. I even ration it out to charge things over night when it's cheaper. It's insanity living here. Absolute insanity.

Muesli - meh. Again, I can't taste much of anything that isn't a really strong flavour.

Do you do spring cleaning?
