Just removed the second largest huntsman/giant crab spider from my room (herded it out an open window which was promptly shut).

It was as big as my hand, and I have big hands.

They're not dangerous at all, but they creep me out (the only thing that does; haven't seen a large tarantula, but they'd probably do it too -- I don't think they move as fast though).

Go back to Mirkwood you foul beasts!

i have a large huntsman spider on the wall of my kitchen but it is too high for me to reach it without a ladder. they send shivers down my spine even though i know they are completely harmless and timid. such frightening but beautiful beings they are. i have a can of pesticide that i could zap it with, but last time i did that i felt extreme guilt so i will never do it again.

he has been motionless for the last six hours but he/she is huge and when i go to bed, i will stuff a towel under my bedroom door.

huntsman spiders that are large are about 5 years old and they are peaceful and non toxic even if they bite (very rarely and only if aggravated with a finger). i will not experience any more guilt because it is a hideous feeling to kill a spider who has done nothing wrong.

my skin is crawling with worry. when i am asleep i will seem like a motionless object to it and it may crawl upon me.
i will not kill it however. i was crushed with guilt about 3 weeks ago when i sprayed a huntsman spider on the wall of my bedroom, and i will never kill one again. the one i sprayed went into convulsions and i seriously wanted to unspray it but the deed was done.

i must seal the gap under the door of my bedroom with a towel.

If mankind has seen everything there is both in the air, sea, land then there is no need for either scientists, theologians,or psychologists to explain all the unknown phenomenon for, it's simply a delusion of a disordered mind..

Pink lemonade flavour Lucozade is gorgeous stuff. I do love an Irn Bru as well. It's got to be the stuff in glass bottles though, it doesn't taste the same out of plastic. And I've only ever seen the glass bottles in Scotland. :(

An Irn Bru and vodka is very nice as well.

On spiders - there were lots of very big ones round here last Autumn. I like spiders, and British ones aren't poisonous and rarely bite anyway, but even so they were a bit creepy. Especially the morning I woke up to find a big one on the wall about a foot from my head. Sitting there watching me sleeping. 8O

I strongly dislike spiders and have grown used to squashing them when I spot them around my house. It is not easy to tell if a spider is poisonous and I do not want to take a chance on it. :eew:
