$30 or so-----if I really like them. I haven't worn jeans in a while now, since I'm a bit chubby.

In 1975, my father bought me a pair of Pro Keds sneakers which cost $15. That was a good amount of money for a sneaker in those days.

Do you like "Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown?"

Property taxes in NYC are about 1/3 that of nearby counties, for some reason. High----but not insanely high, necessarily.

A pair of pants, about forty bucks.

But I have not gone clothes shopping since 2019. Exception:. July and December, three total pairs of shoes

Who have you nonconsentually seen naked and vice versa? What was the situation about and what was their reaction?

My area isn't too bad. You can still buy a very nice house for under $300K
But it's steadily going up.
Friends of ours bought a shack for $79K in another state and recently sold it for $900K!

Same q

(kraftiekortie): Never heard of him!

btw, I was asking about the prices of the actual properties (not the taxes), but interesting to hear that anyway, kk.

(Raleigh): Property prices around here are pretty low for the UK, but are still absurdly high in my view. My house was valued at £37,000 in 2002, but would now go for maybe £140,000

A studio flat in London can easily fetch £300,000

I've walked in on my SIL in the shower, it was a laugh, and we still laugh about it.
I've had cancer (in remission) so I feel like everyone has seen me naked + I walk around my property naked at times, I don't really care.

My dad saw me naked on my wedding day.
I saw my friend's partner whom I now refer to as "pencil dick".

My land taxes are about $5000 / year.

What are you wearing right now?

"Bad Bad Leroy Brown" was a popular song in 1973-1974, done by Jim Croce. I thought it was popular in the UK, too.

In the area where I live, houses go for $400,000 minimum (fixer-uppers, foreclosures). Usually, though, they're like at least 700K-800K. Co-ops go for about $300K now.

Would you live in a flat/apartment, as opposed to a townhouse/private house?

I'm wearing a black, patterned shirt, black pants, and sneakers.

I'd sort of like to live in a flat, but I've probably got too much stuff for anything but a very large one. Then there's the issue of service charges, which can be huge.

I'm wearing dark blue jeans and a light blue shirt.

Same question

The former given that the firm that is helping me find it is backlogged.

Same question.

At a typical 7.

Same question.

6/10

Rating brought down by anxiety about a 'sell' order I made by post for about £5000 worth of shares last week. It's not yet been executed, and as the market's been falling every day, it'll likely cost me several hundred pounds.

Same question

I missed a question. I'd love to live in a flat full-time to avoid the outdoor work but it's not practical when I have dogs and cats. I'd rather live in a private house for that reason.

Day has been very bad but that puts things in perspective, making it burn a little brighter.

What are you craving?

And duh, sorry DH. I thought you said property taxes.

Houses around me are over $1 million. It's ridiculous.

Back to cravings -
