I yell at other drivers on the road.

Good thing they can't hear me otherwise they might beat me to a pulp.

for anyone who's interested in swearing, but in not offending anyone, here's one in Japanese: (no one will understand it. you can blow off steam and without hurting anyone.)

anyway: baka-yaro. i'm not sure of the exact translation, but "baka" means crazy. "baka-tare" is also an insult, but a softer version of it.

when the cat was nagging or making too much noise, my mother used to say "yakamashi!" it isn't a cussword, but for some reason, it's really satisfying to say. (it's a reference to someone making too much noise.)

she also swore in English, but had a set nonsense litany that really wasn't very offensive. my cussing tends to be strong (the f bomb) but also nonsensical. $%#$ a duck!! !! !

i hope this doesn't get censored.

I just still don't understand the concept of a 4 letter word "hurting" people. How many people are hospitalized every year as a result of hearing a word that sounds a lot like duck?

Not physically, silly, that wouldn't happen!! :P What it is is that some people, like me, have (what I like to call) "verbal synesthesia", so they associate such words with whatever their original meaning was. In the case of the one you mentioned, it is a bodily function that has excretions, and so therefore, if someone says "f**k you", they're saying that you're a waste. If it's just used as an intensive (i.e. "f**king awesome"), then I just find it useless. Not "evil", just useless. I love words too much to want to use a word that I think has absolutely no meaning. I would rather that people use words like "erudite", "ascertain", and "platitude" in their conversations, but of course most people probably think that's too "nerdy" and they'd rather be seen as "cool" then they would as smart :( Eh, can't please everyone :|

Not unless under extreme stress in an involuntary manner.
