What it is is that some people, like me, have (what I like to call) "verbal synesthesia", so they associate such words with whatever their original meaning was. In the case of the one you mentioned, it is a bodily function that has excretions, and so therefore, if someone says "f**k you", they're saying that you're a waste. If it's just used as an intensive (i.e. "f**king awesome"), then I just find it useless. Not "evil", just useless. I love words too much to want to use a word that I think has absolutely no meaning. I would rather that people use words like "erudite", "ascertain", and "platitude" in their conversations, but of course most people probably think that's too "nerdy" and they'd rather be seen as "cool" then they would as smart
