I do know what you mean with bisexuals being the fad, they are often used to get attention especially online and I knew a friend online did that, there is also self harm, suicide, ADD and even Aspies and I find these annoying, wrong and offensive and gives them bad names.

Excessive swearing like 'Mother f***ing b8tches' or 'I have f***ing have too much f***ing homework!'

designer glasses with thick ear pieces.

I haven't seen hipsters in my area but I kind of wish that trend would take off here. I might have a chance of being accepted by em. I like technology, I despise mainstream culture, I look kind of like a dork who cant fit in with other dorks. Plus I think hipster women look kind of cute

So I'll just be risky and say that one thing that no one has :

Bisexuality.

I support gay rights, love is love, etc. But bisexuality in it's current state in society is absolutely disgusting.

14 year old girls announcing they're "BI AND IF U DONT LIKE IT GTFO"

Obviously, genuine Bisexuality is a reality and I don't deny that. But an observant person cannot deny that at least half of the self proclaimed "Bi" people(mostly teenagers) in western society are faking it for attention.

I am expecting flame my way for this, but I'm glad I said it. ;)

Ah yes this, this annoys me to no end. It started with the emos and scene kids, and all those "emo boys kissing" videos that became popular, hey I thought they were hot too. But it's spread to other social groups as well, including the cool kids. I think it has something to do with men liking seeing lesbians kiss, and girls have used that. Of course growing up people often experiment and have the odd same sex crush, that's pretty common and I have nothing against that, but just saying your bi to get in with the cool kids is just ruining it for the genuine people out there.
When I was 11-12 I went through a difficult year because I didn't quite know what I was attracted to. I made the mistake of telling people and I got bullied for it, if this was recently I would be seen as cool I bet. I've also had a spell of gender confusion when I was 14-15 and I became a cross dresser for that time. I still see myself as more boyish.
By now I know that I don't really label myself as any particular sexuality, I just go with the flow and I find anyone attractive (men more so than women).

Hipsters don't bother me. It's just clothes. Same with emo. I'd rather look at either crowd than another guy in a blue button down shirt and khakis. That's a style I don't think much of.

But ATM, the fad I want to go away? Having babies.

I did know we were in the midst of a fad of having babies. Happymusic, what crowed are you running in? Virgins for Babies ... Momma Wannabes, The Sperm and Egg Club?

Sorry happymusic, I hate it when things get complicated. Jodi, my wife, and I dated for 7 years before we got married. The whole goddamn time we were dating it was, when you going to get married, yada, yada, yada. Then after we got married in 1999, it was when are you going to have a kid. Well, unbeknown to us, my wife had a benign tumor on her pituitary gland that fooled her body into thinking she was pregnant. Doctors say we can't have kids in 2000. Ok, we have a cat, good enough. Well, after 3 years on a medication that was suppose to help shrink the tumor, but she was still suppose to not be able to have children, WHAM she gets pregnant after a session of pity sex ( I have puppy dog eyes). So we never planned on having a kid, assumed we never would, and now 8 months later we do (don't even ask how difficult the pregnancy was). You know as well as I do, it is tough for an aspie to be a parent, lots of people have talked about that on WP, so the last six years have been me trying to be the best version of myself possible, with lots of visits to my psychologist and LOTS of medication.

That reminds me, where in the Hell is my clonazepam?

P.S. pregnant ninjas would look pretty sexy, but I know what you are talking about. I hope you find that genie or at least some respite.

there, now you've covered two of the big ones for me.

Reality TV is (comparatively) really cheap to produce. don't make the mistake of thinking it's wedged itself into popular entertainment so thoroughly only because people like it. commercial radio stations play the same five songs every two hours or so. eventually, people buy the songs.

yes. i'm so embarrassed for them.

punk rock. i liked it when you knew someone was interesting when they dressed weird.

facebook and the facebook like button, which is now ubiquitous, even here, which i hate.

SUVs, huge pickup trucks and hummers.

gluten free foods. because i have celiac and the trend toward offering gluten free foods means some people are being sloppy about it, serving things that are contaminated and make me sick anyway.

who the heck is justin bieber?
and is it seriously a trend to get pregnant as a teen? i have a hard time believing that.

I don't mind the Tea Party, they provide a nice balance to the wanna-be anarchists and socialists that hold their little rallies in San Francisco. They just need to ditch Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck as their mouthpieces, even though Rachel Maddow/The Daily Kos/Nancy Pelosi/Arianna Huffington ain't doing the left good either.

And I don't mind Uggs - as long as they are worn with bootcut jeans. Not leggings/jeggings(one trend that needs to die), Juicy tracksuits or VS PINK sweatpants. And don't tuck your pants into them.

Despite all the advances with birth-control, teen pregnancy is on the rise. Instead of having poodles in purses like the rich women, teens have babies. I think the TV shows like 16 & Pregnant & these stupid talk-shows with 13year-old defiant girls talking about how they want a baby are responsible for the trend but the guy gets blamed even thou guys have less forms of birth control than women :x

BTW what are ugs :?:
