well, supposedly a democratic republic, like here.
except presumably if 1 million americans marched on washington condemning the war, us politicians might have listened.. or the police might've shot them, who knows.
to hell politics, the art of speaking and saying nothing.

I would LOVE to see Boris Johnson as US President. That would be hilarious. We could give him to them as a 4th of July present.

ROFL yes please  Let's see how well he can improve the US of A by f*****g the county up now

lol rl story I hear from my sister, yesterday was the four years to the day that I graduated from university. A guy I know from my church (an ex friend of mine, a total a***hole say no more  ) went to the same university as me and was graduating on the 4th of July, His wife (who was born in the US) told my sister that he was graduating on independence day, the 3rd of July! :? Perfect an American who dones not when her own country's national day is!

I don't think it's so much polical correctness but just common sense. I wasn't born in England and I've never lived in England so it's illogical to say I'm english. I'm welsh! My country has it's own flag, it's own language and as it now has an assembly it's one step closer to it's own government.

Don't forget the Cornish for god's sake, or they'll have words  .

Personally, I call myself English, cos I was born in England to English parents, and have such a boring family tree that we're all b****y English, except for a few Scots who moved to England to farm several centuries ago. I think my sister's husband is the closest we've come to furrin' blood ;) (he's from NZ).

But even I wouldn't dare stand in Scotland, Wales, Cornwall or NI (or Yorkshire, let's face it...) and call them England! :P . Well, maybe if I were fit and felt like a run...

The reason I wouldn't want to go to England because it seems they have it out to ban any controversial film.

Could you give some examples? I was always given the impression that America's censors were much stricter. We show Black Swan, Fox edits out Bart's genitals in The Simpsons Movie.
