Yeah, but I don't drink.

And drink.

And do drugs.

And more drugs.

And pick fights with Kanye West.

And decide not to show up on the set.

And feud with just about everyone in Hollywood.

And drink some more.

Points taken! I'm not exactly Richard Burton or Oliver Reed myself! :)

Who the hell is Kanye West, btw? My knowledge of the film world/Hollywood doesn't extend much beyond 1980.

^ Count yourself lucky. Things haven't improved since 1980.

i read a book published around 1980 that predicted how the 21st century would be like. it was funny because most of the predictions were oh so wrong.

we didn't get a chance to go to the beach today so i took her for a walk at my high school this evening, right as the sun was setting. she was stubborn to go on my path, typical, but it was rather cool out, and didn't see many people aside from a few skaters around 12 or 13.

i say i hate going to school but the campus itself is exceptionally beautiful for a high school. recently rated as one of the top 10 in the world, really.
especially at night when there's not a soul around and all the lighting is sparse and artificial. some of the lockers were open and empty.

our school is built literally meteres away from the county bowl, and today there was a concert going on. not sure who was starring but i could make out some individual words. the parking lots were also jam packed with cars but like i said, no people. i took her down by the stadium with it's parched grasses (no astroturf, lol), it was dark and she was getting rather scared as some dude passed by. she was moving where i wanted to go, away from the guy but i decided to carry her anyway. she had a bath today, she smelled good. that oatmeal shampoo is divine.

i walked up the metal stairs to the place overlooking the pool. she normally is good with stairs but she got stuck on the very last step.
i swear that guy was following me. or maybe it was a different one. i got a little tense, honestly. the pool was pretty.

anyway, it was a pretty good evening.

here in SoCal?

i'm pretty sure it is, but you cant be intoxicated and unless you're over 16 and you're supervised by a parent or have their written permission, you can't be a minor.

ironically (or paradoxically) it's banned in war for being a chemical weapon. :?

Are you saying that our lovely Sylkat is actually Lindsay Lohan?

I'm pretty sure she'll slap you for that. Or at least give you a supercilious stare. :P

Or perhaps she will sneak into his refrigerator and nibble on all of his exotic cheeses.

Especially his 'Stinking Bishop'.

I wonder if his expensive cheeses would go well with Vegemite.

Given everything else they eat in his country, I think he might actually like it.

I might send him a jar.

You should. Disgusting stuff. He's bound to like it. 8)

I remember after the Christchurch earthquake when the vegemite factory was closed, and they announced a national shortage. There was panic buying. People were up in arms. I didn't care in the slightest. Dreadful stuff. :P

They eat Marmite in NZ, which has a slightly different taste. It was the Marmite factory in Chch that was damaged, and it made people start panic buying. Some Kiwis even thought of switching over to Australian vegemite ? which I thought was pretty funny. I lost it though when I heard the name "Marmageddon" being used in the NZ media. :lmao:

But doesn't Britain have marmite, too? Weren't you raised on it like NZ kids and marmite, or Aussie kids and vegemite? I had both growing up, and I love 'em.

Ah, that's right. Marmite and Vegemite combine in my brain into one inedible jar of yuckness.

Yes, they definitely had Marmite in the UK when I was growing up. My dad used to try to get me to eat it, because it's supposed to be good for you and have lots of nutrition, and I was a half starved waifling, but even the smell of it made me ill.
