mee too! as for your washer, it has a time machine counterpart in another dimension, and there is a guy over there who periodically loses a sock from a pair here and there, to somebody else's washing machine in yet another dimension, so he simply "borrows" one of yours here and there.

Ahhh, yes, makes perfect sense that my washing machine might be inter dimensional, would explain the weird occurrence/s within string theory that my socks gravitate towards!
