Because even if he wasn't divine, the philosophy of "love your neighbour as you love yourself" is still a worthwhile one.

I was too busy reciting Yoda's teachings when I sat out from eating and drinking Jesus; I'm an infidel...so I’m not that good with Biblical stories.

When I referred to a play, I was talking about the play, "Love Thy Neighbor."
